Ever since the formation of Scrollback Campus Ambassador program, we’ve been getting requests and suggestions from people asking if they could contribute to code. While the code is all available on Github and is free to play with, students were looking for something more simpler to get started with. We’ve been thinking on how we could get Scrollbackers to contribute to code and have found out a solution-
A web portal for Scrollback!
If you or anyone you know is interested in developing a Web portal for Scrollback, let them know about this amazing opportunity! This would be considered as an official non paid internship for a 3 month duration starting from April 2015 and students would be given an official certificate among other goodies upon completion of the project. A team would be made from the shortlisted candidates and they would be responsible for the Web portal project.
Prerequisites to participate:
- Previous experience creating website and portals
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team
- Interest to learn new technologies to help the team
What’s in it for me?
- Work closely with the Scrollback team for the web portal
- Internship at an Open source organisation
- Work together on ideas from different people from different places
