The Scrollback Learning week

Scrollback cordially invites you to the Scrollback Learning Week 2015  - A Scrollback Campus Ambassador Program initiative from 19th January - 23 January 2015. The event is a great opportunity for students to explore and enhance their career prospects  thorough collaborative learning  and in conversation with some of the best in the industry.

The event format is going to be simple. 5 days, 5 different topics to be discussed online on Scrollback. Each session will be for 2 hours, every evening. Experts from different domains of today's industry will be invited to facilitate these session.


The 5 different topics that are going to be covered at the learning week are:
  • 19th Jan (5pm to 7pm) - Alternate career options.
    • During this session, Jytirmoy Dutta, the co-founder of Emotional Fulls, will talk to the participants about the possibilities of building a career outside of the mainstream world. He will take us through the technicalities of Photography/cinematography, Film making and Youtubing. 
  • 20th Jan (6pm to 8pm) - Being a freelancer while you are still a student.
    • This session will be facilitated by Awadesh Madhogaria, founder of simplifyS, who had started his freelancing work when he was a student and is a famous name in the freelance world now.
  • 21st Jan (6pm to 8pm) - Being an Entrepreneur while you are still a student.
    • Facilitated by Gaurav Dahake, a passionate technologist and an entrepreneur at heart with the ability to build and lead high performance teams.
      Gaurav is also the founder at Buyhatke, a shopping research portal to deliver the ultimate shopping experience to consumers. 
  • 22nd Jan (6pm to 8pm) - Profile Building.
    •  Putting those right elements in your resume which can help you land on your dream job. Facilitated by Vivek Prakash, one of the top 6 coder at ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest and also a GSOCer from 2011 batch.
      Vivek has co-founded many organizations like MyCareerStack and HackerEarth. 
  • 23rd Jan (6pm to 8pm) - Fundas on CAT, SNAP and other MBA entrance exams.
    • Ravi Handa, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, is the founder of handakafunda.com.
      Handa Ka Funda is one of the leading online CAT coaching solutions in India and has taught over 7500 students online since starting Handa Ka Funda in 2013. He has been training students to crack the CAT for the past 9 years and has worked at leading coaching institutes (IMS & TIME) in the past.

Along with great learning, we also give you the opportunity to bag in a lot of prizes. Everyday on Scrollback, we are going to have a day-long quiz. And everyday, we are going to give away prizes to the topper of the day! It doesn't end with that, we also have a bumper prize to be given away to one winner at the end of the Learning week.
